Earthquake Treasure! From junk to gold
Jay Jackman from Sadhana Surfboards is shaping a unique 6'3" balsa South Island Fish from timbers salvaged from the badly damaged factory next door to his own showroom in Woolston.
You can watch the construction progress on Facebook.
On completion the board will be auctioned on Trade Me to raise funds for the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal. We will keep you posted.
