Największą ciekawostką dotyczącą klimatu na Hawajach jest bezsprzecznie fakt, że nosi on zaszczytne miano "najzdrowszego" na świecie! Charakteryzuje się bowiem optymalną wilgotnością, bo codziennie padają tam przelotne deszcze, stale obecna jest rześka bryza oceaniczna, a roczna amplituda temperatur to zaledwie 3°C! Minimalną temperaturą jest 25°C, a maksymalną 28°C.

Rok na Hawajach dzieli się na dwie pory: lato i zimę, ale tylko mieszkańcy wysp potrafią odróżnić je od siebie. Przez cały rok panują tu bowiem mylące wysokie temperatury.

Lato, trwające od maja do początku października, jest najlepszą porą na wypoczynek na tych rajskich plażach. 

Warunkiem jest wybranie odpowiedniego wybrzeża:

Wybrzeże zachodnie (zawietrzne) jest w tym czasie wyjątkowo słoneczne, 
a deszcze występują sporadycznie. Dodatkowo, wiejące bez przerwy, pasaty orzeźwiają wilgotne gorące powietrze. 

Wybrzeże północno-wschodnie jest w tym okresie narażone na wiatry i wyższe opady, a słońca jest zdecydowanie mniej. Latem zdarzają się huragany.   

Zima charakteryzuje się niższą temperaturą i bardziej obfitymi deszczami, jednak słońca nadal jest sporo.

Zobaczcie co ma do powiedzenia tamtejsza mieszkanka pracująca w branży turystycznej od 1978 roku:
